Giving Tree Tags are the heart of our Christmas Baskets program, connecting generous community members with children and families who need a little extra warmth during the holiday season. They serve two vital purposes:

For community members who want to give:

Each tag represents a real child in our community. By choosing a tag, you pick a child to shop for, making your giving experience personal and deeply meaningful. Your thoughtful gift brings joy and helps fulfill a specific wish.

For families receiving gifts:

These tags help us ensure that every child and household receives gifts perfectly suited to their age, size, and preferences. We strive to provide presents that are not only needed but also truly cherished, thanks to your kindness.

How Giving Tree Tags work

Thank you for considering a gift that will bring smiles to our Hoodland Community families. To help us ensure every child receives the right gifts, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Label your gift: Please clearly mark your gift with the number shown on the tag.
  2. Do not wrap the gift: We kindly request that gifts remain unwrapped.
  3. Return your gift by: Monday, December 14th by 5:00 PM.
  4. Drop-off locations: Return your unwrapped gift to the location where you picked up the tag, or to one of these convenient sites:
    • Clackamas County Bank
    • Liquor Store
    • Welches Mountain Building Supply
    • Welches School
    • Hoodland Fire
  5. Gift certificates: We are unable to accept gift certificates or gift cards.
  6. Cost guideline: Please keep the cost of your gift at $40.00 or less.
